ZCCM APPROVES K53M DIVIDENDS

By Patricia Banda:ZCCM Investments Holdings PLC says shareholders have approved dividends of 53 Million Kwacha to the Industrial Development Corporation , Ministry of Finance and other minority Shareholders .ZCCM- IH Chief Executive Officer Mabvuto Chipata says the approval was done at the 16th Annual General Meeting held in Lusaka today.Mr. Chipata disclosed that ZCCM Investments holdings is looking at an investment of over 1-hundred Million Kwacha in a long term in its strategic plan for 2018 to 2023.He explained that the company is looking at commodity diversification in Manganese in Serenje and Gold.Mr. Chipata was speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka.Meanwhile , Mr. Chipata said ZCCM IH has an exploration license in oil and gas and that a team will be sent to look at what is happening in Southern province regarding oil.On Copperbelt Energy Corporation- CEC, Mr. Chipata said Stakeholders engagements are currently on going to address matters regarding the Supply of power from ZESCO to CEC.
