Zanaco reclaim Stream A top spot as Buildcon maintain Stream B lead

Sensational Zanaco reclaimed top spot in Stream A following their two goals to one win away in Kitwe. The bankers beat Kitwe United 2-1 to end a two game losing streak and open a one point lead at the summit of Stream A.

A goal either side of half time fromTaonga Bwembya and Enerst Mbewe was all that the Bankers needed to down the struggling Buchi Boys who pulled one back through Kiala Lassa.

On Saturfay, Lusaka dynamos beat Mighty Mufulira Wanderers by a lone goal to climb to the summit of StreamA but have since dropped to second . Chris Mugalu scored a scorcher to earn Elite maximum points.

Red Arrows continued their good run . The Airmen handed Prison Leopards their seventh defeat of the season beating them 3-1. George Simbayambaya, Bruce Msakanya and Stanley Nshimbi scored the goals for Arrows.

Kabwe Warriors continued their unbeaten run after they held defending league Champions, Zesco United to a one all draw away in Ndola.

In Stream B, Buildcon maintained their two point lead at the summit of the Stream thanks to a one nil win away in Lumwana. Zambia U23 national team striker Lameck Banda scored the only goal of the game.

Chris Kaunda’s High Flying Nkwazi completed a double over Power dynamos beating them by a lone Kebby Kamanga goal to put an end to a three game winless streak.

Napsa Stars returned to winning ways on Saturday. The pensioners beat Circuit City by two goals to nil thanks to a brace from Burundi striker Laudit Mavugo.
