Roger Kola scored the only goal of the game as Sensational Zanaco returned to winning ways beating Green Eagles 1-0 away in Choma.
Prior to the match, there was a lot of speculation on whether the match would take place or not following reports that ten Green Eagles players had tested positive for Coronavirus.
However, Chairman Col Jim Kafumukache came out and cleared the air saying the team would play the game and that they were ready.
Back to the match, Zanaco gaffer Chris Kaunda made one change to the team that played out to a goalless draw with Nkwazi at Sunset Stadium, Chitiya Mususu dropped to the bench with Boyd Musonda taking up his place.
Zanaco were given a penalty in the 37th minute, Roger Kola stepped up and converted with easy to put Zanaco in the lead eight minutes before the break.
It was an entertaining game with both sides pushing for Maximum points but it was Chris Kaunda and his side who managed to record a famous 1-0 win away at Independence Stadium in Choma.
The win takes the Bankers to seventh place with 39 points just five away from the top four spots. Next for the Bankers is a trip to Mazabuka to face Nakambala Leopards while Green Eagles will be away to Kansanshi Dynamos in Solwezi.
