The MTN/FAZ Super league week nine was full of drama and exciting action leaving fans both amazed and craving for more.

As is tradition with the ZamFoot crew, Our writers and many contributes were at various venues and came up a team of the week acknowledging and appreciating the beat players of that week.

Team of Week.

GK: Scot Ngokene (Kabwe Warriors ), The Kabwe Warriors shot stopper put in a fantastic shift to deny Red Arrows a number of clear cut chances and keeping a clean sheet and protecting Kabwe Warriors unbeaten run.

LCB: Diego Apanane (Buildcon), The Congolese left back was once again a crucial part of the Buildcon back four and put in a great shift . He also scored a goal to draw Team Kopala level.

RCB: Simon Silwimba (Zesco United), The Zambia national team right back was on point through out the match and offered an attacking option through his overlapping runs unfortunately his team had to settle for a point.

CB: George Chilufya (Lusaka dynamos), The former Zanaco defender put in a great shift to help the Elite Lusaka dynamos side to their fifth clean sheet of the season.

CM:Webster Muzaza (Forest Rangers), The Fole Malembe midfielder took his A game to Mazabuka, Dictating alot of what happened in the middle of the park.

CM:Obed Masumbuko (Nkana), The Nkana midfielder had arguably his best game so far this season and set up two goals which also earned him the fans man of the match.

RM:Richard Zulu (Circuit City), The Circuit City winger gave Nkana defence a lot of problems on the wings and was lively all through out the match.

LM: Lameck Banda (Buildcon), The Zambia U20/U23 national team forward was lively as usual and gave Power dynamos defenders a tough time . He scored a late goal to open his Buildcon goal account .

AMF: Simon Bwalya (Nkana), The Nkana midfielder came from the bench to score a brace and earn the twelve time Super league Champions their second win of the season.

CF: Biston Banda (Circuit City), The Zambia U23 national team forward scored a brace to give Nkana a minor scare but he was unfortunate to end up on the losing side.

CF: Chitiya Mususu (Zanaco), The Zanaco lanky forward has been a reborn figure this season and gave Prison Leopards defenders a lot of problems and also scored a goal to help Zanaco to a 2-1 win.

Player of the week: Simon Bwalya, The Nkana midfielder has been named the player of the week for his brace that won Nkana their second match this season.

Coach of the week : Beston Chambeshi, The Nkana boss made crucial match winning substitution to beat Mathews Phiri in the tactical battle.

Bench

Edward Mwanza (MUZA)- Made a number of great saves to deny Forest Rangers their fourth win in a row.

Enock Chingwele (Lumwana Radiants ) , The defender gave it his all against Stream B log leaders Nkwazi to help his team rescue a point.

Klala Lassa (Kitwe United)- Had a good game all round

Robin Siame (Kitwe United)- Lively as usual and full of tricks .

Austin Muwowo (Forest Rangers )- He had a good game and could have had a goal or two if not for the heroics of MUZA shot stopper Edward Mwanza.

Emmanuel Chabula (Nkwazi)- Gave Lumwana Radiants defenders problems all throughout the match and scored a goal.
