The MTN/FAZ Super League will enter week 13 this long weekend with a number of interesting fixtures scheduled all around the country. The ZamFoot crew is however taking a look back at what happened in week 12 as they bring you the ZamFoot team of the week.

Kabwe Warriors continued their unbeaten run as they held Zesco United to a one all draw. Buildcon continued their winning rampage while Zanaco got back to the summit with a win over Kitwe United.

Team of Week

GK : Scot Ngokene, The Kabwe Warriors goalkeeper was outstanding in the game against Zesco United with a number of good saves and has hence been given the node in goal.

LCB:Kebby Kamanga, The Nkwazi left back came from the bench to replace Belchance Makiesa who sustained an injury early on and gave a good account for himself. He also scored the only goal of the game.

RCB: Clement Mwape, The Zesco United defender has been in fantastic form all season and last weekend was no different. He gave a good account of himself with good tackles and blocks .

CB: Isaac Samujompa (Buildcon ), The Team Kopala tall towering defender put in a good display and helped his side keep a clean sheet away in Lumwana.

DMF: George Simbayambaya (Red Arrows) , The midfielder who has become a favorite of many fans because of his workaholic nature was once again a key member of the Red Arrows team that cruised to a three one win over Prison Leopards. He also pushed in a goal.

CM: William Njobvu (Nkwazi), The former Zamabi U20 national team midfielder was given the captains armband and boy or boy did he lead the team by controlling the midfield as Nkwazi beat Power dynamos 1-0.

CM: Mousa Lemisa (Lusaka dynamos), The Elite midfielder put in great performance as Lusaka dynamos fought to a one nil win over Mighty Mufulira Wanderers.

LWF: Bruce Musakanya (Red Arrows), The Airmen captain has been leading his side from the front and did so again over the weekend scoring his fifth goal of the season and all round tormenting the Prison Leopards defence.

RWF: Lameck Banda (Buildcon), The Youngster scored the only goal of the game as Buildcon beat Lumwana by a lone goal. Banda has now scored three goals and set up one in Buildcon’s last four games. The club has scored a total of five goals in those games meaning he has been involved in 80 % of their goals in the last four games.

CF : Laudit Mavugo (Napsa Stars), The Burundi national team forward scored a brace to help Napsa Stars to a two nil win over Circuit city.

CF: Lassa G. Kiala (Kitwe United ), The Buchi Boys Jersey number ten scored a beauty of a goal and was a thorn in the Zanaco defence despite ending up on the losing side.

Player of the week : Lameck Banda, The young star was phenomenal and deserves the player of the week crown but Bruce Msakanya and Laudit Mavugo gave him a good run for his money.

Coach of the Week : Chris Kaunda, The Nkwazi boss masterminded the downfall of Power dynamos be it a depleted side he did well and has been named coach of the week.

Special Mention : Charles Muntanga, Marcel Kalonda, Kosuke Nakamachi, Aaron Kabwe, Chris Mugalu.
