Zambians urged to support Govt – WINA

Former Vice President INONGE WINA has called on Zambians to support the country’s leadership at all times.

Mrs. WINA says her vision is to see the country prosper and that she is ready to support the government in its development agenda.

She said this when Special Assistant to the President for Politics LEVY NGOMA paid a courtesy call on her to deliver a letter of her appointment as the President’s special envoy.

Mrs. WINA has thanked President HICHILEMA for recognising that past leaders can still contribute to the development of the country.

Later, Mr. NGOMA visited Former Prime Minister in the UNIP Government General MALIMBA MASHEKE and delivered his letter of appointment as special envoy.

Mr. NGOMA, who was in the company of Special Assistant to the President for Legal CHRISTOPHER MUNDIA, said that President HICHILEMA wants to benefit from the knowledge that the former Vice Presidents have about the country.

Meanwhile, Mr. MUNDIA said President HICHILEMA appreciates that the Vice Presidents served the country diligently.

And General MASHEKE thanked the President for the appointment and said that he is ready to offer his advice.

Yesterday, President HICHILEMA hosted a luncheon for the former Vice Presidents where he appointed them as his special envoys.
