ZAMBIANS RETURN HOME FROM SA

By Chansa Kunda: Twelve Zambian Nationals and eleven resident permit holders have returned home from South Africa by air. Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa Major General Jackson Miti says the twenty-three left South Africa using a Zambian registered plane through Oliver Tambo international airport in Johannesburg. He says the Mission facilitated for their return following discussions with South Africa’s authorities to issue special travel permits to the Zambians. General Miti says  another group of about 52 Zambians are scheduled to leave South Africa on Sunday 24th May 2020 by road. He says the Mission has so far facilitated the return of about two 2- Hundred Zambian nationals and resident permit holders to Zambia in the last three weeks. This is contained a press statement made available to ZNBC News by First Secretary Press and Public Relations to the Zambia High.
