Zambians need to maintain peace before August polls,says Prophet William Ng’ambi

A ZAMBIAN clergyman based in Malawi has implored Zambians to maintain peace as the country heads for general elections on August 11.

In a statement to Mwebantu Media, Prophet William Ng’ambi said it is the responsibility of every citizen to create and maintain peace which politicians cannot create.

He warned Zambians that, ” if you continue fighting , you will destroy the development that has taken place. Let peace reign even as you head towards the election, you have only one country , safeguard the peace you are enjoying”.

Prophet Ng’ambi urged cadres not to be influenced by politicians but to love one another and embrace peaceful campaigns.
“People of Zambia just pause for a minute and ask yourself a question” why should i fight my friend just because am a supporter of a politician who wants to be in state house, parliament or council chambers? ”

“In every fight you can’t tell who will be killed, be wise and lets be peaceful. You are too innocent to be in this fight, we are one. Stop it or you will die for nothing,” Prophet Ng’ambi.
