Zambia urges Malawi stakeholders to use due process of the Law in Electoral dispute 

MINISTER of Foreign Affairs Hon. Joseph Malanji has expressed hope that Malawi would continue to uphold peace following the recent general elections.
Speaking when he held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Francis Kasaila, Hon Malanji stated that all stakeholders in Malawi are urged to follow the due process of the law and encouraged to resolve any perceived conflict using established institutions in the country.
Zambia and President Edgar Lungu currently holds the position of  Chairperson of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security.
Hon Malanji stated that Zambia and Malawi were sister republics and shared common cultural, social and economic ties.
And Malawi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon Kasaila stated that he was taking time to brief the region on matters occuring back home and expressed hope that the people of Malawi would resolve any matter of concern using sovereign institutions grown over the years.
Hon Malanji is representing President Edgar Lungu at the 12th Extra-Ordinary Summit of the African Union Assembly of Heads of State in Nihamey, Niger.
This is according to a statement issued by  Inutu Mupango Mwanza,  First Secretary Press&Tourism at the Zambian Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
