Zambia U-17 captain upbeat ahead COSAFA U-17 Championship kick off

The Zambia U-17 national team Captain Miguel Chaiwa has expressed Confidence ahead of the COSAFA U-17 Championships which kick off on Friday, The 11th of October, 2019.

Chaiwa told the ZamFoot Crew in an interview that the team was ready for the tournament as they have been training hard for the tournament.

“We are ready for the tournament as usual because we have been working hard, thanks for the directors who have given us the word of encouragement, we are not going there to participate but to compete,” he said.

Chaiwa was also quick to appreciate the technical bench for the hard work they have put in since setting up camp in May.

“I just want to appreciate the technical Bench for the hard work after Being in Camp since May and we have been working hard, we thank God for the peace and joy he has given us for us to go and participate and the morale in Camp is very High,” Chaiwa told the ZamFoot Crew.

The U-17 Championship will take place in Blantyre, Malawi with Zambia Playing Eswatini in their first game on the 12th of October,2019 before facing regional heavyweight rivals South Africa two days later and hosts Malawi in their final game on October 16.
