Zambia to train Eswatini Military Personnel

Zambia Army Commander Lieutenant General SITALI ALINBUZWI says the Army will increase the uptake of military personnel attending exchange programmes in Zambia from the Eswatini Defence Force.

Lt General ALIBUZWI says this is to enhance collaborative efforts in curbing emerging security threats to the region.

Lt General ALIBUZWI was speaking when Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force Commander General MOSES FAKUDZE met him at Army Headquarters in LUSAKA.

He said the process will be finalized once a Memorandum of Understanding is drafted and that the exchange programmes will incorporate officers and Soldiers.

Meanwhile, The Eswatini Defence Force Commander praised the Zambia Army Command for constantly enrolling six officers from Eswatini into various military courses.

General FAKUDZE said the more personnel are incorporated, the more they will be aware of how Zambia Army has been instrumental in curbing threats to peace.
