Zambia rugby women begin preps for Olympics pre-qualifiers

The Zambia Women’s Sevens Rugby national team has started preparations for the 2024 Olympics pre-qualifies to be held in Lusaka.

The provisional team comprising 21 players has set camp in Lusaka ahead of the 2024 Olympics women sevens pre-qualifiers to be played from 1st to second July 2023.

And Speaking to ZNBC Sports News in Lusaka Women’s Sevens Rugby National team Coach WILLIS MAGASA said all the players have reported for training with the team expected to be trimmed to 12 by the end of the month.

And player MARGRET CHAMA said the team will work hard in training so that they can make the country proud.
