Zambia at its lowest – Dante Saunders

Dante Saunders 1We have never witnessed this kind of lawlessness in Zambia since independence. If you are an opposition supporter, you are not Zambian under the rule of Edgar Lungu, says a political activist Dante Saunders.

Saunders cited the recent attack by PF cadres on Lady Diana school, which is owned by Kanyama UPND parliamentary candidate Samuel Mwale.

“Imagine the level of impunity where PF cadres go to private property destroy everything in their and no arrests are made. They destroy property beat up innocent school children and they are left scot free. This is unheard of.

“Just same late afternoon Tuesday the same PF cadres destroyed campaign materials at Intercity of a candidate. So how will the opposition campaign? Do you expect a free and fair election under such an environment? ” wondered Saunders.

Saunders has appealed to the international community to take particular interest in the happenings in Zambia.

“At the rate things are going these criminals in the PF will start targeting individuals who don’t support them and go attack them in their homes. And that’s precisely how civil unrest starts. We know Edgar desperately wants to retain power but that shouldn’t be at the expense of Zambia’s peace,” he said.
