ZAMBIA 2-0 DRC

Two goals, within a space of seven minutes, were all the Zambia Under-20 National football Team needed to get a well-deserved 2-nil victory over their Democratic Republic of Congo counterparts.
The victory means the junior Chipolopolo has enhanced their chances of qualifying to the semifinals of the COSAFA Championship going into the last match against Mozambique on Saturday.
And Mozambique are also in contention with four points so far from the two game.
Out of the three groups, only group winners will get automatic qualification with one best loser to make it four.
Mozambique who beat DRC by a goal to nil yesterday, today drew one all against Malawi.
Benson Kolala opened the scores in the 17th minute, before Prince Mumba buried the Congolese on 24 minutes.
Zambia top Group (A) on six points, while Mozambique have four.
Zambia’s last group game is against Mozambique while DRC and Malawi who are yet to earn a point at the tournament will square it out in the last fixture on Saturday 8 December.
Charles Bwale’s charges opened their campaign on Sunday with a 2-nil win over Malawi.
Meanwhile, Bwale said there is need to work on the Goal Scoring techniques ahead of the next games with his Congolese counterpart saying there is need to work at grooming players for other leagues such as Under 23 and National Team.
