ZAAB and NBA continue fight over GMO’s

The Zambia Alliance for Agro-ecology and Biodiversity -ZAAB says
it will not allow Zambians to be used as guinea pigs for experimental purposes.

ZAAB Executive Member, Juliet Nangamba says the National
Biodiversity Authority -NBA must prioritize the interests of the citizens and
the environment.

want a GMO free market but the authorities have decided to turn a deaf ear to
the matter.

Meanwhile, Caritas Zambia Executive Director, Eugene Kabilika
says research has been conducted and clearly shows the effects of consuming
genetically modified products.
