ZAAA, CAA SIGN MOU

The Zambia Beginner Athletics Association -ZAAA- has signed a memorandum of realizing with the Confederation of African Athletics -CAA- to host the predominant African Athletics Constructing Centre on the Olympic Formative years Constructing Centre -OYDC.
ZAAA President Elias Mpondela says Zambia has been chosen by the World Beginner Athletics Association -IAAF- to symbolize the African draw.
Addressing the media in Lusaka, Mpondela said Zambia has been chosen on legend of of its strategic region of getting eight neighbours.
He said Zambia now stands a tall chance of becoming an athletics powerhouse with such opportunities.
And CAA Director Extraordinary Lamine Faty said that is a predominant step and hopes that this will well simply be moved to an even bigger stage.
Faty said CAA will soon withhold two championships in Zambia.
He said Zambia used to be chosen on legend of it is definitely one of the valuable equipped countries in Southern Africa.
And Ministry of Sports Everlasting Secretary Joe Kapembwa has reaffirmed Executive’s commitment to the form of sports within the country.
Kapembwa says the Ministry is in elephantine back of the switch by the IAAF by CAA to host the 2 championships within the country.
