YASA Queens donates a set of jerseys to sister club Luyando Foundation

In a bid to develop and support Women Football in the country, YASA Queens Management has donated a set of football jerseys to their sister club Luyando Foundation .

YASA Queens Director Mr Dan Chima in his message after the handover of the jerseys said that His team will continue to support any progressive club.

“We have a cordial relationship with the club. We will continue to support any progressive club,” China said.

Meanwhile Luyando Foundation head Coach Bernard Mwape expressed gratitude on this kind gesture by YASA and thanked the management for the donation.

“We are very grateful to have people who are recognizing our grassroots work in developing womens football,” Mwape said.

This is the debut Appearance by Luyando Foundation In the league and despite playing one of the best entertaining football they have struggled to pick up maximum points but going forward it’s a team to look out for with great talent and enterprising young players.

On the other Hand Yasa who are currently occupying position number 2 in the FAZ Lusaka Region Women’s League is a one of the well organised teams in the country and the only club to Have a foreign Player in the league all the way from Botswana Her Name is Mogkabo Onneile Thanda who was also part of the Botswana team that progressed to the second round of the 2020 Olympic Qualifiers at the expense of Namibia and will be locking horns with South Africa In August And September for the second round qualifier match.

Yasa has great support from the Germany people and are working with Bundesliga Powerhouse Bayern Munich.

And on the local front they are partners with with clubs like Luyando Foundation and Kafue Cranes who give them players.

Mr Chima Added that, ” It’s our obligation to help them”

Aside from Germany Support Yasa has sponsorships from Switzerland that means once they receive materials they remember their sister clubs and in addition to that the team has extended their helping hand by supporting more than 45 Girls in School. Yasa is expected to travel to Norway in June.
