Power Dynamos Vs Circuit City

Arthur Davies Stadium

Live on Supersport

One of these sides has enjoyed a perfect start to the season and the other… well it’s been a bit less than perfect.

Circuit City have beaten Forest Rangers and Lumwana Radiants however with Power’s early season struggles they would feel like they have a great chance to spring an upset here.

This will be their fifth game with only one loss and if they have any aspirations of surprising anybody, they will need to take something from this game.

While Power Dynamos have a very good squad on paper, the upset potential of Circuit City is excellent here and is a worthwhile play. But Power are energised after a derby win even with missing BAZO they look strong for three points.

My Prediction: Power Dynamos 2-1 Circuit City

Green Eagles Vs Nkwazi

Independence Stadium

15:00hrs

Nkwazi have dominated Green Eagles in recent seasons and they have won two of the past six games in Choma, a 2-0 win in 2018 and a 2-1 win in 2015. We count 5 draws in the last 12 games between these sides and Green Eagled has a total of 3 wins with four for Nkwazi.

That record looks like it will have to be adjusted in 2018 and Green Eagles will start this game as clear favourites. They have just done something great to this team that makes it difficult for anyone to predict against them when they are playing at home. Eagles is making Independence Stadium a fortress .

Green Eagles were far too strong though not impressive for a hapless Buildcon last weekend and they have won ten and drawn five of their past 18 games as home favourites.

Nkwazi have made a typically underwhelming start to the Super League this season and they were simply better for Forest Rangers, Power Dynamos and finally MUZA last week. Hence joint leaders on 9 points with Green Eagles in stream B.

The Police outfit have won three of their last four games and only count one loss against Napsa Stars on day one. That’s the identical stats that Green Eagles have coming into this encounter with the only loss away to Forest Rangers on day one.

Green Eagles are clearly the team to beat, but there is no value at their current quote and I am happy to stay out of this clash from a betting perspective. But because Iam paid to predict, I will go with a home win.

My Prediction: Green Eagles 1-0 Nkwazi

Buildcon Vs Napsa Stars

Trade Fair Stadium

15:00hrs

Napsa’s fast start to the transitional League life was halted when they lost to Nkana before being held by Circuit City but got a relief with an away win in Lumwana. It doesn’t look consistent yet and you expect anything in this tie.

Buildcon matches are not as free scoring and it took a fortunate run to record their biggest results so far against Lumwana Radiants and this one is tougher than that.

I expect both teams to get on the scoreboard here and Austin Banda to be the man to get the party started.

My Prediction: Buildcon 2-2 Napsa Stars
