Super League side Napsa stars football Club is in Livingstone for a two weeks Pre-season tour with selected teams from the division one in preparation for the 2019/2020 football season that kicks off in August 2019.

Napsa Stars head Coach Mohamed Fathi has described Livingstone as being an environment that is friendly and has a wide range of Clubs accompanied by good Facilities.

“Livingstone has a lot of Clubs and good teams and it’s near Zimbabwe so we can invite teams from Zimbabwe to play friendly with us, the pre-season is six weeks so the first two weeks will be more tactical as well as the Technicality of the team,” he said.

Fathi told the Zamfoot Crew that the just ended 2018 transitional Super League season was not a bad one for the Pensioners and that the team will be ready for the 2019/2020 campaign which kicks off in August.

“It was a very good season from surviving relegation and coming into the transitional league the players did not rest enough but we played very good we were just unlucky but I don’t want to talk about the past.”

“We have to beef up our defensive line because next season will be Competitive and the teams will be Eighteen it’s a good number so will be ready for the 2019/ 2020 football Season,” he added.

Napsa stars finished 5th in Stream B, Twelve points adrift of log-leaders Green Eagles. The 2012 Barclays Cup Champions are aiming to have a better 2019/2020 season and possibly qualify for Continental Football.
