“WE GET MONEY FROM MEMBERS”

PF Media Director Sunday Chanda says those questioning the source of funding for the PF campaigns during the recent local government and mayoral election are being insincere.
Mr Chanda says assertions by political activist Brebner Changala show that the opposition and their supporters are desperate for political relevance.
In statement availed to ZNBC News this evening, Mr Chanda said Mr Changala should know that PF gets support from its members, friends and well-wishers especially during campaigns.
He said in the just ended campaigns, the PF had supporters and well-wishers who printed posters and T-shirts at their own cost which they later donated to the campaign while others voluntarily branded their vehicles for campaign purposes.
Mr Chanda said Mr Changala’s accusations are not only a flagrant display of malice and ignorance but of the law on election campaigns and election funding as well.
