Lumwana Radiants suffered their fourth loss of the season at the hands of Green Eagles in a rescheduled week four fixture played at Lumwana Grounds on Saturday.

Speaking to the Zamfoot Crew after the match Green Eagles assistant coach Alex Namazaba was happy with the win.

“We knew when we coming here that it was going to be tough looking at the way they have been playing,” he said.

“In the first half they dominated the midfield we failed to win the ball but in the second half we made changes we had good passes going forward hence we scored the winning goal,” he added.

Coach Namazaba called on the fans to continue rallying behind the team as the team prepares for the next game against Napsa Stars.

“This was a game in hand and looking at the game will play against Napsa this has motivated them very much and I know they will do better in that game, the fans should continue supporting us and we will try to do our best so that we can give them the three points,” he said.

Eagles are currently sixth on the log with 10 points while Lumwana Radiants are basement dwellers with a Point.

On the same day, Forest Rangers recorded their third straight win after they beat Nakambala Leopards 2-1 in a brought forward week seven encounter.

Webster Muzaza and Patrick Illongo scored the two goals for Fole Malembe while Elias Maguri scored the Sugar Boys goal netting his third in three games.
