Zambian legendary goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene got a rare start for Mamelodi Sundowns in place of the injured Dennis Onyango.
Mweene’s gave a man of the match performances as he kept Egyptian side Al Ahly at bay with world class saves.
Sundowns’ won the match 1-0 in what has been termed as a ‘historical win’ by the South African press.

Augustine Mulenga’s Amazulu beat Tunisian side ES Setif 1-0 to record back to back victories to the delight of coach Benni McCarthy.
