UPND want refund

POLICE have opened an inquiry into allegations against United Party for National Development (UPND) member Faustin Banda, who did not file nominations for the Kasenengwa parliamentary by-election after the party sponsored him as its candidate.The inquiry was opened yesterday at Lusaka Central Police Station after UPND chairperson for elections Gary Nkombo reported Dr Banda for allegedly obtaining money and goods by false pretences.
Lusaka Province Commissioner of Police Nelson Phiri confirmed the opening of the inquiry and said if established that the allegations are true, Dr Banda will be arrested.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
