UPND SUFFER MAJOR SETBACK

The United Party for National Development- UPND – in Southern Province has continued to lose members as hardly a month passes without a report of a defection.
In Pemba District, 1-hundred and 89 people have defected with 1-hundred and 74 from the UPND joining the ruling Patriotic Front.
ZANIS reports that, PF Member of the Central Committee Kebby Mbewe was at hand receiving defectors who pledged support to President Edgar Lungu’s efforts to develop the nation.
