UPND NOT WITHDRAWING MANIFESTO -MWEETWA

By Mark Ziligone- Opposition UPND Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says the party will not withdraw its manifesto despite threats to report it to relevant authorities.

Mr. Mweetwa says political players should instead focus on talking about policy and NOT politics.

He has told ZNBC News in a telephone interview that there is need to focus on issues affecting the country than the UPND manifesto.

Yesterday, Deputy Government Chief Whip Tutwa Ngulube threatened to report the UPND to the police for allegedly publicising forged and stollen foreign images in their 2021-2026 party manifesto.

Mr. Ngulube gave the UPND a 48-hour ultimatum to withdraw the document from circulation or face legal action.
