UPND MPs told to stop wasting time

Economic and equity party leader Chilufya Tayali has called on opposition members of parliament to stop wasting time on issues that have nothing to do with public interest and national development matters as parliament resumes sitting this Friday.

Mr. Tayali says it is unfortunate that opposition members of parliament would spend their time discussing what he termed as flimsy and trivial matters that do not benefit the Zambian people.

He has told q-news parliamentarians should not table the impeachment motion because it is a share waste of time saying it will never see the light of day.

Mr. Tayali feels that this is the reason why the ruling patriotic front members of parliament take advantage of tabling motions which only benefit them.

He is hopeful that the last session of the year 2018 will see the opposition parliamentarians debate on issues that will bring change to the Zambian people.
