UPND ASSURES ZAMBIANS

The United Party for National Development -UPND- has assured Zambians that it is on the right trajectory in rebuilding the economy.

UPND National Spokesperson CORNELIUS MWEETWA has told ZANIS in Choma that those who are politicizing and blaming the ruling party for the high cost of living must stop doing so because the new dawn government cannot be blamed for global challenges.

Mr. MWEETWA said the party is doing everything possible to rebuild the economy that took a decade to destroy by the previous administration.

He said people should not expect economic reconstruction within seven months of being in office and four months of running a national budget.

Mr. MWWETWA, who is also Southern province Minister, asked for patience and give the President chance to work on the campaign promises.
