UPND ALLIANCE WARNS PF AGAINST ILLICIT ACTIVITIES

By Wilson Mulinda

The UPND Alliance has warned the Patriotic Front -PF- to desist from illicit activities that have the potential to land them in trouble.

UPND Alliance Spokesperson THABO KAWANA says the alliance is in receipt of verified information of Former PF members who are regrouping in a named political party and causing chaos.

Mr. KAWANA says reports have also indicated that the PF is recalling thugs and cadres to cause mayhem in higher learning institutions.

Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka today, Mr. KAWANA said the new dawn Administration will NOT tolerate such behaviour which has potential instill fear in innocent people.

Mr. KAWANA said the decision by the PF to regroup in another party is a sign of hunger for power.

He alleged that 2 former Ministers under the PF are the ones leading the team and hosting the dark corner meetings.

Mr. KAWANA warned that the law will deal with the culprits individually.

He said the UPND Alliance is managing the affairs of the country in a transparent manner, a situation that the PF failed to deal with.

But when contacted, PF Chairperson for information and Publicity RAPHAEL NAKACINDA said he could not respond to Mr. KAWANA’s allegations and referred the query to PF Lusaka Province Chairperson KENNEDY KAMBA who was NOT immediately reachable.
