UPDATE: Limpopo Bus accident, post-mortem done, Amb. Mwamba releases more details

AUTHORITIES in Limpopo Province have conducted post mortem on the remains of the accident victims.Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa Emmanuel Mwamba has confirmed the development.He said the Zambian government had expressed gratitude to the Premier and Limpopo Provincial Government for dealing with the accident victims and deceased expeditiously.Meanwhile, Mr. Mwamba said, after verification of the survivors admitted to various hospitals, it was established that twelve(12) survivors of the bus accident are still admitted to various hospitals.Mr. Mwamba also released the details of those admitted to hospitals and those discharged.He said among those admitted to hospital, was Bishop Roy Sinkala of the UCZ, Luapula Presbytery who was evacuated from FH Odendal Hospital in Mokopane to Sunshine Hospital in Boksburg as he was in a critical condition.Below are those admitted to various hospitals;1. Harry Phiri- Voortrekker Hospital2. Getrude Chola-Voortrekker Hospital (but family transferred her to a Johannesburg Hospital )3. Piet Moonga(FH Odendal Hospital)4. David Sambinda (FH Odendal Hospital evacuated to Sunshine Hospital)5. Bishop Roy Sinkala( evacuated to Sunshine Hospital in Borksburg)6. Brenda Moonga( Mokopane Hospital)7. Carol Sakala( Mokopane Hospital)8. Faith Bwalya( Mokopane Hospital)9.Chisenga Priscilla( Mokopane Hospital)10. Pamela Konie (Mokopane Hospital)11. Bulaya Rayford(Polokwane Hospital but trnasfered to Pholoso Hospital)12. Dapheny Luhanga(Polokwane Hospital. She underwent a traumatic amputation of left hand but now stable).Mr. Mwamba also disclosed that members of the affected families tasked to help identify the remains of the deceased were being transported from Zambia to South Africa by the Bus operator, Royal Bus Service.Mr. Mwamba said of those admitted to hospital, 3 remained in critical but stable condition.Remains will be transported after identification is completed.
