UNVEIL YOUR ECONOMIC RECOVERY PLAN

The Jesuit Centre for Theological Reflection (JCTR) has called on opposition presidential candidates to unveil their economic recovery plans to enable the electorate make informed decisions ahead of the August 12 general elections.
JCTR Programme Officer Joseph Lungu says presidential candidates seeking to lead the country have an obligation to share their respective economic management plans with the citizens to prove that they are equal to the task.
Mr. Lungu was speaking in an interview with ZANIS in Kasama.
He said the JCTR is eager to see workable economic management roadmaps from political leaders participating in this year’s elections.
Mr. Lungu said it is important for Zambians to know what presidential candidates intends to do for the country if elected into office.
He said political leaders participating in this year’s elections have every reason to engage in issue-based campaigns.
Mr. Lungu said Zambians deserve to know the vision of each presidential candidate in order to make sound decisions on poll day.
He also said JCTR will always stand with the poor in both bad and good times through its constructive engagement with the government of the
day.
