Ukraine: Shemmy Mayembe puts-in a 90-minute shift as FC Mynai suffer narrow loss

Ukrainian based Zambian International defender Shemmy Mayembe played a full 90 minutes as his side, FC Mynai lost by lone goal to third placed Zorya in a Premjer-Liha encounter.
Mayembe, who was part of the ‘Bola Na Lesa’ side that won the U20 AFCON and stormed the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup Quarterfinals has been a constant feature for FC Mynai since joining the club last year September.
The former ZESCO United player has featured in 20 out of possible 24 matches.
The 23-year-old right back is fondly remembered by Chipolopolo faithful for scoring the winning goal when Zambia U20 team defeated Germany 4-3 in the round of 16 of the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup after extra time.
In today’s game, a late strike from Vladsylav Kochergin in 81st minute sealed a narrow 1-0 win for Zorya over Mynai.
FC Mynai are a team campaigning in Ukrainian Premier League.
They lie bottom of the league in the only relegation place on 18 points. They are 4 points away from safety.
Next for Mayembe and team is a home fixture against Ukrainian giants and Champions League regulars, Shakhtar Donetsk; followed by a season closer against Vorskla.
