U20 CHIPOLOPOLO PLAY NIGERIA IN FRIENDLY

The Zambia Under-20 Men’s National Team will this evening take on Nigeria in an international friendly game.

The Junior Chipolopolo will take on the flying eagles of Nigeria at 17:00 hours in the first of two friendly games ahead of the 2023 Egypt AFCON tournament.

The encounter will be played at the 60,000 capacity MOSHOOD ABIOLA Stadium in Abuja which was the venue for the final of 2009 Under 17 world Cup hosted by Nigeria.

After the encounter Zambia will then proceed to Dakar where they will face Senegal in the second international friendly before heading to Egypt for an international camp preceding the tournament.

The U-20 AFCON 2023 will be held in Egypt starting on February 19 to March 11th as Zambia is in Group C alongside Tunisia, Benin and Gambia.

And Top four teams at the AFCON will qualify to the FIFA World Cup to be hosted by Indonesia.
