U15 Teulings Badoko basketball coach tips players
Badoko Basketball Coach John Ndhlovu, says he will continue to motivate his players to be scoring more baskets when in competition.
Ndhlovu who bragged about his players beating Wild Dogs Basketball Team 14-2 and Hurricanes 3-2 during the Teulings Basketball league at the weekend said the weekend games were interesting and yielded good results for his basketball team.
He said opponents were not strong during the games but cited Sport in Action also known as SIA Scorpions as the team which has in the last few weeks dominated the league standings in both girls and boys categories.
He described the overall performance of all the teams as interesting adding that he will not take any chance to allow other teams to score baskets.
Meanwhile, Badoko Basketball player Joseph Banda, who scored 8 baskets against Wild-dogs, says he is impressed with the coordination his teammates showed in the game.
Banda urged his teammates to focus on defeating Sport in Action who have continued to dominate the league in both girls and boys’ categories.
And in the under-15 girls’ category, Sport in Action (SIA) beat Buffaloes 24-13.
SIA Coach Emmanuel Banda, said he will not reveal the secret behind his team’s good performance stating that Breathe of Heaven Basketball Team has players who have the potential to beat his team.
And SIA player Idah Nankala, says her teammates are always good at fastbreaks when they are in possession of the ball hence scoring more baskets.
She urged her teammates to continue with the winning spirit and to never lose hope when the team is not playing well.
