The Zambia Under-17 Men’s National Team has arrived in Rabat ahead of the 2021 Total Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

The team touched down at 13:27 hours local time at the Sale International Airport and completed their Covid-19 protocols before heading to Hotel Rihab which is nine kilometers from the airport.

Zambia is in Group A alongside hosts Morocco, Uganda, and Ivory Coast, who will battle in the opener on March 14 at the Moulay Hassan stadium.

Before the tournament, George Chilufya’s boys are expected to play international friendly matches against Cameroon, Nigeria, and FUS Rabat U17.

The early arrival into Rabat will give the team enough time to acclimatize to the North African weather before the tournament kicks off.
