TRADITIONAL CEREMONIES KEY FOR DEVELOPMENT-MWANZA

Chipata City Mayor GEORGE MWANZA says traditional ceremonies are key platforms that can be used to deliver development through unity.

Mr. MWANZA says for longtime traditional ceremonies have played a major role in upholding the One Zambia, One Nation motto.

He was speaking when he graced the fundraising dinner dance for the Kuomboka-Kufuluhela traditional ceremony organizing committee in Chipata.

And committee chairperson SAMUEL SIMATE said he is happy that the committee has managed to hold a second successful fundraising dinner in Chipata since its formation.

Meanwhile Chipangali council chairperson MAXSON NKHOMA appealed to Zambians to take keen interest in supporting traditional ceremonies.
