TO EARLY TO JUDGE UPND GOVT – Chief

Chief MAGUYA of the Ngoni people in Chipata District says it is too early for people to judge the performance of the New Dawn government.

Chief MAGUYA says some of the STATEMENTS of criticism that people are making about the performance of the UPND are counterproductive.

He says the UPND has just been in office for nine months and that Zambians should remind them when they go wrong.

Chief MAGUYA however says the new government is living up to its promises like the provision of free education and increasing the Constituency Development Fund – CDF.

He has appealed to the people entrusted to handle the Constituency Development Fund to ensure that the funds meant for projects are released timely.

Chief MAGUYA says the country can only develop when people unite and work together.

He was speaking in an interview with ZNBC news in Chipata.
