Three people Die in Ndola Highway Road Traffic Accident, Police say

THREE people died while 11 others sustained injuries in a road traffic accident which occurred on August 9th, 2018 at Kashitu 2 along Ndola highway in Kapiri Mposhi district.Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo in a statement to Mwebantu said involved was Robert Kafunda aged 40 years of Kamuchanga compound in Mufulira who was driving a motor vehicle Nissan van  registration number BAH 8603  from north to south with 14 passengers on board.She said the accident happened due excessive speed hence the driver lost control of the motor vehicle which later overturned several times off the road.“The deceased who died on the spot have been identified as Given Nayame aged 31 of Kamuchanga compound in Mufulira, Juliet Mutambo aged 43 of Kalengwa Kalulushi and a female juvenile  Esther Precious Simushi aged between 4-5 months and the bodies are in Kapiri Mposhi district mortuary while  the injured  are admitted to Kapiri Mposhi district hospital.” She said.
