The Zambia Transitional League Stream A entered Week 16 of action on Saturday with only 2 games to wrap up the short Season. The fight to play Super League next season still remains up for grabs as both the Sugar Boys, Nakambala Leopards and Prison Leopards have to fight untill the last day following their one all draw.

The Two Versions of Leopards (Nakambala and Prisons) had a Last chance to settle their differences after the first leg ended in a goalless draw in Kabwe. This time the battle was in the sweet town of Mazabuka. Zeddy Saileti made only one change to the team that lost away in Mufulira with Veteran Striker Signs Chibambo replacing Roy Sakwanda to led the Attack. While Balanga Ishmael maintained his first Eleven that lost to Zesco United.

Prison Leopards Started the game with the fastest of Chances but Brown Nyirenda was Equal to the Task And collected the ball with easy. The Home team responded with a counter attack through Felix Bulaya who took it upon him Self beating he’s marker for pace and skill to set up Simon Mulenga whose header went wide and in the end couldn’t trouble Langson Chisi in the Prison Leopards goal.

Another goal scoring opportunity was engineered by in-Form Felix Bulaya who proved to be a thorn in the fresh of Prison Leopards right back Wallace Kekaya. Prison Leopards never stopped pushing for a goal with Good Inter-Change of passes between experiences midfielder Evans Mwanza and Saviours Nkonkola but lacked The finishing instincts in the final third.

Chipo Mugala almost had he’s first goal of the Season after a Perfectly laid down header from Kwiliko Andrew but hit the upright.

In the 25th minute Nakambala was awarded a Penalty a Prison Leopards defender was judged to gave handled a Felix Bulaya cross in the box. Junior Zulu stepped up and converted from the spot to make sure Nakambala ended the first half leading.

At the start of the second half, Prisons Made one Change introducing Liya Miete Mandu who partnered Evans Mwanza in midfield and dominated the second half with beautiful passes splitting Nakambala’s midfield Into half but still failed to utilise their chances and Equalise.

‘Super’ Portipher Zulu was introduced for Biuma Dickson Kashitu to Help restore the midfield balance but he’s splendid passes were wasted by Junior Zulu and Signs Chibambo who failed to Convert.

Finally Prisons continous push for a goal paid off after Patrick Kasongo met a Evans Mwanza free kick to beat Brown Nyirenda in the dying minutes to see to it that the two shared spoils after the end of ninety minutes.
