TCZ ISSUES  PRACTICING CERTIFICATES

The Teaching Council of Zambia -TCZ- will tomorrow launch the issuance of Practicing Certificates for registered teachers.
In phase one, the Council will start with Kasama, Mongu, Solwezi, Choma and Mansa.
TCZ Spokesperson Ngoza Malonga disclosed this in a statement to ZNBC News in Lusaka .
Ms. Malonga says the issuance will be phase one after which the Council will embark on a country wide issuance of the practicing certificates to the rest of the teachers.
During the exercise, Ms. Malonga says the council will continue to receive applications forms from new entrants, verification of TCZ numbers and clarifications of any other queries.
She said that the Council will also use the occasion to distribute Code of Ethics to teachers in the areas.
Ms. Malonga urged those that are not yet registered to immediately do so, as unregistered teachers are not allowed to practice in any educational institution in Zambia, whether public or private.
