EP GETS PESTICIDES TO FIGHT ARMY WORMS

By Christopher Miti Eastern Province has received over 10,000 litres of pesticides to fight fall army worms that have affected all the 15 districts in the region. The province has also been affected by black beetle which attacks soya beans and beans fields. The ministry of agriculture is currently assessing the extent of the damage.
