Suspected UPND Cadres Murder PF Official In Chongwe

Patriotic Front Chalimbana Ward Mobilization Coordinator in Chongwe constituency Paul Longwani has been brutally murdered in a case of suspected political violence.

According to a report carried by QFM, Longwani was murdered last evening and his body which had multiple cuts was dumped in Water Green area near his house.

His body is said to have been dumped by an unregistered vehicle around 18:00 hours which sped off.

Chongwe Police only picked up the body around 20:00 hours and took it to Chongwe district hospital mortuary.

PF Lusaka province youth Secretary Stanley Chiumya has accused UPND cadres of being behind the brutal murder of Longwani.

Chiumya says this because the opposition party in Chongwe district was not amused by Longwani’s recent defection to the PF alongside 300 other UPND members in Chalimbana area.

He has since called on the Police to thoroughly investigate the murder and bring the people responsible to book.
