South African President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to arrive in Zambia at 17:00 hrs.

SOUTH AFRICAN President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to arrive in Zambia at 17hrs and will land at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport.It is a national holiday in South Africa and he is expected at a national women’s day event before departing for Lusaka.He will be received by President Edgar Lungu.The two heads of states will hold a tête-à-tête at State House to discuss bilateral and regional issues that might include issues related to elections in the DRC and aftermath of Zimbabwean ones.The two will also witness the signing of the Bi-National Commission between Zambia and South Africa by their Foreign Affairs Ministers; Hon. Joseph Malanji and Hon. Lindiwe Sisulu.President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to leave for the Democratic Republic of Congo on Friday morning.President Ramaphosa is the current Chairperson of SADC and will hand over to Namibia next week.President Lungu is in-coming Chair of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security.
