SOME CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS OFFSIDE

By Patrick Mulenga:The Young African Leaders Initiative has bemoaned the way the constitution amendment bill number ten debate is being handled by some Civil Society organizations.YALI Executive Director Andrew Ntewewe says it is sad that those from the opposition are willfully misleading Zambians for political expedience.Mr. Ntewewe says the recent Public forum which was held to discuss the Constitution amendment Bill was hostile to those who had different views.He alleged that the environment was hostile for members of the ruling party because the audience mainly comprised cadres and organizations aligned to the opposition.Mr. Ntewewe said this during a press briefing in Lusaka.And speaking on behalf of other organizations David Mvula said leadership should be people centered and not be used for personal gain Post Views: 2
