By ZANIS:Kafue District Commissioner Joseph Kamana is impressed that the Presidential Solar Milling Plants are producing mealie meal at affordable prices to the residents of Kafue.Mr. Kamana has since pledged to support all the cooperatives in the district so that the community can continue buying cheaper mealie meal.He was speaking when he visited Mapalo Multi-purpose Cooperative Society in Kalundu View in Kafue District which is selling a 25 kilogram bag of breakfast mealie meal at 1-hundred kwacha and roller meal at 90 kwacha.Mr. Kamana was also happy that all the cooperatives in the district have put up Covid-19 preventive measures that President Edgar Lungu announced by embracing the new normal way of life.Meanwhile, Muchika women’s Cooperative Chairperson Rita Namumbi said the Cooperatives are not going to disappoint the Government for trusting them with the Solar Milling Plants.
