Social ills detrimental to Christian values-Nalumango

Clinton Masumba-Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO has called on the Church to join hands with government to aggressively fight social ills.

Mrs. NALUMANGO says social ills such as teen Pregnancies, early marriages, alcohol abuse and Gender Based Violence are detrimental to upholding Christian values.

The Vice President said this when she attended a Church Building Promotion Service at Seventh Day Adventist -SDA- Pamodzi Central Congregation in Ndola on the Copperbelt.

Meanwhile, the Vice President who made a contribution towards the Church expansion project to increase worshiping capacity from 7-hundred to 1-thousand 5-hundred encouraged people pledged to fulfill.

And SDA Copper belt Zambia Conference Executive Secretary JONATHAN CHINYAMA commended government for the many policies aimed at improving the welfare of citizens.

The Church is working towards raising 6-million kwacha to expand the building.
