SOCIAL CASH TRANFER FUND SHOULD BE TRANSPARENT

Community Development and Social Services Minister,Olipa Phiri has called for transparency in the distribution of Social Cash Transfer Funds.
Ms Phiri said officers in her ministry must ensure that the funds and food security packs are used for the right purpose.
She noted that Government has continued to release huge sums of money under the programs and they must reach the intended people.
Ms Phiri said this when she paid a courtesy call on Sesheke district Commissioner Mubita Siyamana.
She is in Western Province to check on the disbursement of social cash transfer and food security packs that were released to the province recently.
