Situation is calm in Kaoma, Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) says

THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) says voting for the council chairperson in Kaoma is underway and that the situation is calm.
ECZ Spokesperson Margaret Chimanse in a statement said the situation in the district is calm as voters started queuing up before 06:00 hours at various polling stations.
Chimanse said spot checks at most polling stations revealed that there were long queues after 06:00 in the morning.
She also stated that Kaoma District which has two constituencies has a total of 47, 789 registered voters with 66 polling stations and 87 polling streams.
