UPND Consultant MARK SIMUUWE has condemned Socialist Party leader FRED M’MEMBE for insinuating that President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has celebrated the imposition of sanctions on Zimbabwean top leaders by the United States government.

Dr SIMUUWE says Dr M’MEMBE’s utterances border on criminality as it is an offence to call for friction between Zambia and any foreign country.

He noted that Zambia has issued a statement under Acting Foreign affairs Minister MULAMBO HAIMBE in which , government has expressly called on the US and other countries to remove all sanctions placed on Zimbabwe.

This is according to a statement availed to ZNBC News in LUSAKA today.
