Lusaka Dynamos attacking midfielder Collins Sikombe took the spotlight on his CHAN debut on Tuesday as he was voted man of the match after scoring from the spot to give Zambia’s Chipolopolo the lead and also assisted Emmanuel Chabula who made it 2-0 for Chipolopolo

The former Napsa Stars midfield ace believes communication in the team is key. He went on to say every player knows why they are in Cameroon and need to work hard in the tournament.

“I’m so happy with today’s game it been my first time playing the CHAN tournament so am very happy and I thank God for what he has done for me in this game,” he said.

“Todays game is a very Big motivation, we worked so hard as a team because we are all aware why we came here, Communication is key and we have to be united and work together.”

“we will take each game the way it comes I can’t say much about Guinea because I have not watched them play but them they have had a chance to see as play so we will plan for them as we planned for Tanzania, we will get all the instructions from the coach.”

Collins Sikombe put Chipolopolo in the lead in the 64th minute before Emmanuel Chabula could double lead with nine minutes in spectacular fashion scoring a Zidane-like volley.

The next match up for coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic and his team is a match against Guinea on Saturday.
