“SHUT DOWN UNCOMPLIANT HEALTH SCHOOLS”

Government has instructed the Health Professions Council of Zambia -HPCZ- to shut down health learning institutions that do not comply with standards.
Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya says government will not compromise when it comes to the health of the people.

Dr Chilufya says since the council was established, it has helped in the formation of a competent workforce by making sure that health learning institution produce the best health workers.
He noted that HPCZ is key in helping the country achieve its transformation agenda in the health sector.
And HPCZ Board Chairman Sekelani Banda said the council will do its best to standardize the operations of health learning institutions.
